Rules and Procedures
The Office of Student Conduct & Academic Integrity is committed to cultivating an atmosphere of civility and respect among our students; we believe this will in turn foster an environment conducive to academic success and personal development.
Under the terms of the Virginia Commonwealth University Rules & Procedures students are extended several rights, but also assume many responsibilities. For students to succeed at VCU, they must know and understand these responsibilities, and live within the parameters of the Rules and Procedures and the other University policies.
No doubt students will find their time at Virginia Commonwealth University rewarding, challenging and enjoyable. Students will develop new skills in their field of study and grow as individuals. A part of this maturation process is striking a balance between their new autonomy and their responsibilities.
