If your student lives in a University Residence Hall
Encourage your son or daughter to get to know their resident assistant (RA) or community assistant (CA).  There are undergraduate and graduate students serving as peer and community leaders; assigned to a floor or area within a residence hall facility.  Their responsibilities include providing information, responding to student concerns and policy enforcement.  The RA or CA can answer questions or refer the student to the appropriate office for assistance.  A student may also contact their residence director or the Coordinator for Residence Education in their residential area.
