Get Involved

There are a number of opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to be involved.

The Student Conduct Board and the Honor Council represent the VCU Community and assist Student Conduct and Academic Integrity to provide an environment conducive to academic success, where civility and respect are the norms.

Members shall conduct the processes fairly and in accordance with prescribed procedures, properly interpret and apply university policy, and apply the appropriate standard of evidence when determining responsibility.  When assessing the sanctions for misconduct members will seek to bring an end to the violation in question, reasonably prevent a recurrence of a similar violation, and remedy the effects of the violation on the community.

Hearings will typically be scheduled Monday-Friday, between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  Participants should hold two hours; one for testimony and one for deliberations.  Members must arrive prepared for and conduct themselves appropriately during hearings.
