Pharmacy Services
Pharmacy services are provided for USHS patients. The Monroe Park Campus Clinic includes a pharmacy on-site staffed by a full-time pharmacist. Students are responsible for paying for all medications dispensed. Insurance cards are not accepted, however the cost of these medications is generally less than what is charged in retail pharmacies.
The pharmacy has a phone-in refill line (828-7734) for your convenience.
The pharmacy is closed every day from noon – 1 p.m.
Prescriptions
Prescriptions are available on-site at the Monroe Park Campus Pharmacy which is staffed by a full-time pharmacist. Counsel on all prescriptions is available upon request. Students on the MCV Campus use the Monroe Park Campus Pharmacy through a courier system that delivers to the MCV Campus Clinic daily or may chose to come to the Monroe Park clinic to fill prescriptions. Prescriptions written by outside providers require a scheduled appointment with a USHS practitioner to be rewritten.
Over-the-Counter Medications
Over-the-counter medications such as pain relievers, cough and cold medicines, gastrointestinal items, vitamins and more are available for purchase at both clinics.
Contraceptive Items
Contraceptive items such as condoms and lubricants are available at both clinics.
