Getting The Process Started

  1. Contact the appropriate Disability Support Services (DSS) Office.

  2. Provide the DSS Coordinator with appropriate documentation of your disability. For more information about documentation, please refer to the Documentation Requirements section of this handbook.
  3. The DSS Coordinator will review your documentation and determine if you are eligible for services.
  4. The DSS Coordinator will provide you with accommodation letters based on the documentation provided.
  5. Share your accommodation letters with each of your professors at the beginning of each semester.
  6. If you are having academic problems, contact the DSS Office as soon as possible to discuss your difficulties.
