Are your services available alumni?
Yes, the services of the University Career Center are available to current VCU students and alumni for up to one year following graduation.
As an alumnus, am I able to access RamsRecruiting?
Alumni are granted access to RamsRecruiting until one year following graduation. To request an account, please email us careers@vcu.edu or come by the Career Center in the University Student Commons. A guest account is also available for RamsRecruiting to search for open positions.
I need help writing a resume and cover letter. Is there assistance and resources available to me?
Yes. Please check out our “Find a Job” section. We have several resource guides posted to help you refine your resume and cover letter. In addition, we have resources to help you develop your interview skills and salary negotiation skills. Individual appointments are also available for eligible alumni.
Are assessments available to alumni who graduated more than one year ago?
The VCU Alumni Association offers a service to alumni called CareerBeam You can use this tool to research companies, perform self-evaluations, and create resumes and covers.
Is there a networking/resource database available to Business and Engineering alumni?
The VCU Alumni Association offers a service to all alumni called CareerBeam. Additionally, School of Business and School of Engineering alumni are encouraged to visit the Business and Engineering Alumni Database.
