The Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program is an employment and need-based program subsidized by the federal government that allows students to earn wages in special student employment positions. Students are awarded a Federal Work-Study Award as part of their financial aid package. In order to be considered for FWS for the upcoming academic year, students must submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form no later than March 1 of each year.
